Brandon Cruz Author Study James Paterson #2

My author is very unique as to the way he writes. So far in I, Alex Cross I got to the suspense part. His character starts to change. Alex starts to be very dynamic and change. His emotions get the best of him and transitions to a whole new person. The way James Paterson formats this book to make him dynamic is very interesting. He gets deep into Alex's feelings and I get to really experience a real life affect of certain tragedy's that I've seen.

From after reading and experiencing, I got to real connect myself with Alex. His stories and reality contributes to what I see in today's society. As him being a detective and explaining his day to day work environment, his descriptions of the crimes are very similar to the news I hear. I can;t wait to finish the book and get to see how Alex becomes at the end of the book and if he lets his emotions get the best of him even more.

In the books that James Paterson writes he uses a lot dark and deep descriptions of certain real life events. Instead of explaining the crime that occurred, he tells about every detail that went into the crime, especially the materials being used to conduct it. The books usually contain a lot of dialogue to show the way people are feeling and what they are thinking. He spends more time into the criminal' dialogue because this is what will usually layout the rest of the book. James Paterson makes Alex Cross the main character in almost every book. He makes him the most dynamic character by the number of serious murders he investigates. He makes Alex Cross's investigations get the best of him. His style of writing is so unique because it engages the customer in recognizing the mood and theme of the book right away by starting with a deep murder. I would label James Paterson as an attention grabber by the way he writes.

My plans for the development of your Author Study Visual is to do a poster with pictures and writing on it. The way I will layout this poster is with a theme that best fits the books that the author writes which is mystery and suspense. All say do some comparisons to real life events because they correlate so much, but I'm sure I can pick out some differences.
My audience will definitely enjoy this poster because they will get a good understanding on how great James Paterson is as an author because you can relate to his feelings by the way he writes. I'm ecstatic to make this poster and share my enjoyment I had while reading James Paterson books. The books I will describe is I, Alex Cross and the 9th Judgment. The 9th Judgment will definitely relate to people who love the historical events from long ago because this book has a lot of it.

The author study assignment really helped me understand the reader and know how he writes. It's like I developed a friendship because now I know everything about James Patterson. Not only a connection with the author but with the people in his books by the real life events that occur. I will continue to read his books because they really are page turners and exciting. I will recommend this book to many people that love crime investigations because it had a lot of them.
